In conjunction with the Ingres retrospective, the Louvre auditorium will be offering a series of conferences and concerts featuring internationally reknowned art specialists and artists. Presenting the latest trends in art history, and the most up to date studies on the influence and the posterity of Ingres's work, this program aims to shed light on the modernity of a painter, whose art evades any attempt at classification and continues to inspire the artists and art specialists of today.
